After seeing a few anti-bullying commercials I realize that the government is starting to see that bullying has a tendency to drive people insane, but unfortunately it doesn't really stop on the school grounds. The bully's main tactic is name calling isn't it, he seeks to beat a person emotionally by calling them stupid, ugly and worthless. Armed with this knowledge I noticed another bully on the playground that most seem to ignore.
In watching TV I noticed a commercial for a beauty product that claims to clean one's face of acne. They said black heads are ugly, but what they're really saying is "if you have black heads you're ugly." I also seem to remember a late night commercial for a penis enlargement device in which a number of scantily clad ladies were joking around about how a small penis is a deal breaker and sexually inadequate, not even beating around the bush here they're flat out beating a persons self esteem in an effort to sell their product. I also recall a commercial in which it is proudly stated that if you're no good at math or science you'll never find a decent job, of course what they're really saying is "you're stupid and worthless."
So you think the bully in school is the bad guy do ya? Well you have a point, but he's not the only bully now is he? The media ain't nuthin' but a bully and he got blood on his hands. You can talk about violence in the media until you're blue in the face, but you're just ignoring the elephant in the room. The media's violence doesn't hold a candle to the emotional battery they spew and it's not a conspiracy, it's just business.
It all ends up in the bullet aimed at some poor schmuck that didn't even know he helped fund the emotional battery that drove his killer mad. They say God works in mysterious ways, but I don't think they're all that mysterious to be honest with you. They say what goes around comes around and you know I believe it too.
